The 1/3 HP 24V DC motor (the same horsepower class as the standard 12V -E model, rewired for 24V vehicle electrical systems common on medium-duty trucks, agricultural equipment, and dual-battery utility rigs) drives direct gear-drive retraction with no chain to skip or adjust. The drum holds 250 feet of 3/4-inch I.D. hose at up to 3,000 PSI and 250°F, compatible with air, water, and oil service hose. The same CNC robotically welded 12-gauge steel "A" frame and spun ribbed-disc drum found across the entire 1125 Series keeps the assembly solid whether it's wall-mounted in a service bay or bolted to a truck bed.

  A: Both run on 24V DC, but the -EB delivers more torque with its 1/2 HP motor better suited to long, heavy hose runs and high-cycle installations. The -EF's 1/3 HP motor is the right fit for moderate loads and lower-cycle use where the extra weight and cost of the -EB aren't needed.
• Q: What is the difference between the -EF (24V 1/3 HP) and the -E (12V 1/3 HP)?
