Built for service trucks, utility vehicles, and mobile equipment that run 24V DC electrical systems, the Coxreels 1125-5-250-EB delivers hands-free automatic hose retraction without a separate power source or air supply just wire it to your vehicle's 24V system and the 1/2 HP DC motor (higher torque than the 1/3 HP 12V motor on the standard -E model) pulls 250 feet of 3/4-inch hose back in cleanly at the push of a button. Rated to 3,000 PSI at up to 250°F, the reel handles compressed air, water, and oil service hose across a full range of mobile and fixed installations. The direct gear drive runs quiet with no chain to skip or replace, and the same CNC robotically welded 12-gauge steel "A" frame and spun ribbed-disc drum that anchors every 1125 Series reel keeps the whole assembly tight on the truck bed, wall, or floor mount through years of daily field use.

• Q: What is the difference between the -EB (24V DC) and the -E (12V DC) models?
  A: The -EB runs on 24V DC and uses a 1/2 HP motor; the -E runs on 12V DC at 1/3 HP. Choose the -EB for heavier-duty commercial trucks and equipment with dual-battery 24V electrical systems, or where the extra motor torque helps retract longer, heavier hose loads. Choose the -E for standard 12V vehicles and lighter-duty installations.
• Q: Does this reel come with hose?
  A: No sold less hose. The drum holds up to 250 feet of 3/4-inch I.D. (1-1/4-inch O.D. max) hose, or up to 500 feet of 1/2-inch I.D. hose with a reducer. Select hose rated for your fluid type and pressure requirements.
• Q: Is this model explosion-proof or suitable for flammable environments?
  A: No the -EB is a standard electric motor and is not rated for hazardous or explosive atmospheres. For flammable vapor environments, select the -ED (explosion-proof 12V DC) or the air-motor models (-A or -AB), which carry no electrical spark risk.
