The 1/2 HP 24V DC motor (higher torque than the 1/3 HP -EF model on the same voltage, providing more retraction force for the additional weight and resistance of 1-inch hose compared to smaller bore sizes) wires directly to the vehicle's 24V electrical system with no shop air supply needed. Quiet direct gear-drive retraction, no chain. The drum holds 35 feet of 1-inch I.D. hose at up to 3,000 PSI and 250°F for compressed air, water, and oil service. As standard on all 1125 Series 1-inch models, the swivel is nickel plated steel with AFLAS seals a fluoroelastomer compound that provides better chemical resistance than the nitrile seals used on smaller hose sizes in the same series. • Q: What is the difference between the 1125-6-35-EB (24V 1/2 HP) and the 1125-6-35-EF (24V 1/3 HP)?
  A: Both run on 24V DC, but the -EB delivers more retraction torque with its 1/2 HP motor the better choice for 1-inch hose, which is heavier than smaller bore sizes and resists rewinding more under load. The -EF's 1/3 HP motor handles lighter loads and lower cycle counts at reduced cost and weight.
• Q: Is this model explosion-proof?
  A: No the -EB is a standard electric motor not rated for classified hazardous locations. For flammable vapor or combustible dust environments, select the explosion-proof -EA (115V AC) or -ED (12V DC) models instead. If your installation is in a classified area, standard electric motors are not permitted regardless of voltage.
• Q: Does this reel come with hose?
  A: No sold less hose. The drum holds up to 35 feet of 1-inch I.D. (1-7/16-inch O.D. max) hose, or up to 50 feet of 3/4-inch I.D. hose with a reducer.
