The 1/3 HP 12V DC motor drives direct gear-drive retraction from a standard vehicle battery or 12V facility circuit, making it a natural fit for service trucks, mobile units, and plant installations with convenient 12V power access. The drum holds 35 feet of 1-inch I.D. hose at up to 3,000 PSI and 250°F for compressed air, water, and oil service. As standard on all 1125 Series 1-inch models, the swivel is nickel plated steel with AFLAS seals (a fluoroelastomer compound that provides better chemical resistance than the nitrile seals used on smaller hose sizes in the same series) not an upgrade, but the factory-standard spec for all -6- index 1125 models. Built on the CNC robotically welded 12-gauge steel "A" frame common to the 1125 family.

• Q: What is the difference between the 1125-6-35-E (12V electric) and the 1125-6-35-A (air motor) on this reel?
  A: Both provide automatic hands-free retraction, but the -E wires to a 12V DC battery or facility panel and needs no air supply; the -A runs from standard shop air at 90 PSI and needs no electrical connection. Choose the -E when 12V power is more accessible than compressed air at the installation point; choose the -A when shop air is already on-hand and electrical wiring is inconvenient.
• Q: Why does the 1-inch model use a nickel steel swivel with AFLAS seals instead of brass with nitrile?
  A: All Coxreels 1125 Series 1-inch models ship standard with a nickel plated steel swivel and AFLAS seals the larger bore and higher flow rates of 1-inch hose service make the more chemically resistant fluoroelastomer seal preferable to nitrile. This is not a selectable option; it is the factory-standard configuration for all -6- index models.
• Q: Does this reel come with hose?
  A: No sold less hose. The drum holds up to 35 feet of 1-inch I.D. (1-7/16-inch O.D. max) hose, or up to 50 feet of 3/4-inch I.D. hose with a reducer.
