When a compact static grounding reel is needed but the cable must be selected separately, the Coxreels SDL-50 provides the SD Series spring rewind reel platform in a less-cable configuration. This SD Series static discharge cable reel is built for 50 ft cable capacity with 5/32" outside diameter with jacket, giving installers a compact reel body for custom grounding cable setups used around fuel transfer, petroleum handling, aviation ground support, fleet refueling, and other combustible-area service applications.

The SDL-50 is supplied without cable, ball stop, or grounding clamp, allowing the installer to select the appropriate compatible static discharge cable and grounding hardware for the application. Static discharge reels are used to help manage static buildup, which can create ignition risk around fuels and combustible materials. The SD Series spring rewind mechanism retracts the installed cable automatically after use, while the multi-position non-sparking lock ratchet secures the cable at the selected working length. An adjustable guide arm supports wall, floor, vehicle, and overhead mounting positions.
