For high-flow service stations that need 50 feet of 1-inch hose reach with automatic air-motor retraction large-diameter compressed air drops to production equipment, high-volume industrial washdown, and bulk water service at plant and facility maintenance stations the Coxreels 1125-6-50-AB handles the extra 15 feet of 1-inch bore capacity over the compact 35-foot model, powered by a #6 Gast 6-vane cast iron air motor (a heavier-duty drive that delivers greater retraction torque than the 4-vane aluminum #4 motor, suited to the additional weight of 50 feet of loaded 1-inch hose). The reel is rated to 3,000 PSI at up to 250°F for compressed air, water, and oil service. As standard on all 1125 Series 1-inch models, the swivel is nickel plated steel with AFLAS seals a fluoroelastomer compound providing better chemical resistance than the nitrile seals used on smaller bore models in the same series. No electrical wiring required; the motor runs from standard 90 PSI shop air with direct gear-drive retraction and no chain. Built on the CNC robotically welded 12-gauge steel "A" frame common to the 1125 family.

Features
- #6 Gast 6-vane cast iron air motor delivers greater retraction torque than the 4-vane aluminum #4 motor suited to the additional weight and resistance of 50 feet of 1-inch I.D. hose
- Reliable direct gear drive provides quiet, chain-free automatic retraction from shop air supply no electrical wiring required
- Nickel plated steel 90° full-flow 1" NPT swivel with AFLAS seals standard on all 1125 Series 1-inch models for improved chemical resistance over the brass/nitrile swivel used on smaller hose sizes
- Adjustable tension brake prevents free-wheeling during hose deployment for controlled line management
- Exclusive low profile outlet riser and open drum slot design provides non-crimping, flat smooth hose wrap to protect large-bore hose and extend service life
- One-piece CNC robotically welded 12-gauge steel "A" frame base (not bolted) with integrated mounting pattern for permanent or mobile installation
- Heavy duty CNC robotically spun and ribbed discs with rolled edges for structural strength, hose protection, and operator safety
- CPC powder coat finish chip resistant and rust inhibiting for shop, plant, and covered outdoor environments

Applications
- High-CFM compressed air supply - 50-foot 1-inch air drops to production equipment, pneumatic conveyors, and high-flow tools at plant maintenance stations where 3/4-inch hose creates a supply bottleneck
- Industrial washdown & high-flow water service - large-bore 50-foot water drops at processing plants, food facilities, and industrial cleaning stations requiring both flow volume and hose reach beyond the 35-foot model
- Plant & facility maintenance - fixed service stations where the extra 15 feet of 1-inch hose reach over the compact 35-foot model covers larger bays, wider equipment spacing, or longer drops from ceiling-mounted positions
- Construction & equipment service - high-volume air and water supply to large pneumatic tools and equipment on job sites with existing shop air infrastructure
- Agricultural & rural service - 1-inch water or chemical supply at barns and covered service stations where shop air powers the motor and 50 feet of reach covers the working area
FAQs
- Q: What is the difference between the 1125-6-50-AB and the 1125-6-35-AB?
- A: Same #6 cast iron Gast motor, same 1-inch bore, same 3,000 PSI rating the 50-foot model adds 15 feet of hose capacity on a wider drum (15.5-inch drum width vs 9.5 inches on the 35-foot model). Choose the 50-foot model when hose reach is the constraint; choose the 35-foot model when footprint is the priority.
- Q: What is the difference between the -AB (#6 cast iron motor) and the -A (#4 aluminum motor)?
- A: The -AB uses a 6-vane cast iron Gast motor delivering more retraction torque the better choice for 50 feet of 1-inch hose, which is heavier and resists rewinding more than shorter runs or smaller bore sizes. The A's 4-vane aluminum motor is lighter and lower cost; the -AB is the preferred choice when reliable, consistent retraction of a full 50-foot 1-inch drop matters.
- Q: Does this reel come with hose?
- A: No sold less hose. The drum holds up to 50 feet of 1-inch I.D. (1-7/16-inch O.D. max) hose, or up to 75 feet of 3/4-inch I.D. hose with a reducer.
