The Pferd 31002 A1 Vitrified Mounted Point is produced on automated, cutting-edge production lines that adhere to strict tolerances, high requirements of dimensional accuracy and stability, and consistent quality. The CAST EDGE mounted point is for edge grinding and grinding out sharp burrs, sand inclusions, and scale in grey and nodular CAST iron in combination with high cutting speeds. Series A mounted points are generally used on larger components. Due to the special shapes of series A mounted points, it is possible to grind in a variety of contours. The applications range from grinding out slits and grooves in hard-to-reach areas to machining bores and small holes as well as smoothing.
