With the CAST cut, PFERD has developed innovative burs especially for work on cast iron. The 24469 is Tree bur with radius end – Shape F. This CAST cut bur comes with a shank diameter of 1/4", bur diameter of 1/2" and bur length of 1". The CAST cut offers various advantages including low vibration and little noise. They maintain their geometry over their entire service life, and are well suited to manual and machine applications. Almost all materials up to a hardness of 940 HV (68 HRC) can be machined.

Applications include: milling, milling out, deburring, cutting out holes, surface work and weld dressing (work on weld seams). PFERD CAST Cut Burs are compatible with flexible shaft drive, straight grinder, robot applications, stationary machines, machine tools and more.

CAST Cut burs work on various material including: Cast iron, Annealed cast iron, Black cast iron (GTS, GJMB), White annealed cast iron (GTW, GJMW) and Grey/nodular cast iron (GG/GJL, GGG/GJS) etc.
