Resin Fiber Discs

Fiber Discs are designed for long life, high stock removal, and cool cutting action. Their backing is made of vulcanized fiber that is coated on the "business side" with resin adhesive and abrasive grains. Resin fiber discs are widely used abrasive discs, ideal for general purpose applications ranging from heavy stock removal to blending, sanding and polishing, rust and paint removal, and deburring. Additionally, these Fiber Discs are available in various grits to help accomplish different surface finishes. For example, when working with a 320-grit sandpaper, the material gets an ultra-fine finishing. However, if you are looking to get a coarse finish such as when grinding large amounts of wood and rounding off corners, you would require a 80-grit sandpaper. In terms of abrasive grains, fiber discs commonly use Aluminum Oxide, Silicon Carbide, Zirconia, and Ceramic. Resin Fiber Sanding Discs are the most classic forms of abrasive grinding and finishing products. Abrasive Fiber Discs are available in different types and sizes, making it easy for you to choose as per your sanding needs.
