SG STEELOX Cut-Off Wheels

Pferd SG STEELOX Cut-Off Wheels are likely to be specialized abrasive cutting discs designed for precision cutting applications on steel and other ferrous metals. The "SG" in the name might suggest the use of sintered aluminum oxide (SG) as the abrasive material. This material is known for its hardness, heat resistance, and durability, making it well-suited for demanding metal-cutting applications. These cut-off wheels may come in different types or profiles, such as Type 1 (flat) or Type 27 (depressed center), depending on the specific needs of the cutting task. The choice of type often depends on factors like the desired cut, the geometry of the workpiece, and the accessibility of the cutting area. Professionals in metalworking and fabrication industries commonly rely on such specialized cut-off wheels to achieve clean, precise, and efficient cuts on steel surfaces. The wheels are designed to minimize heat generation during cutting, reducing the risk of discoloration and preserving the quality of the workpiece.
