United Abrasives 52750 AO Economical Fiber Disc is a general-purpose abrasive designed for high-speed, aggressive material removal where cost-effectiveness is a key priority. This disc features an AO (Aluminum Oxide) grain, which is the most common and versatile abrasive used for grinding and sanding. The "Economical" designation means it is intended for general-purpose applications that do not require the premium performance or specialized features (like grinding aids) of Zirconium or Ceramic discs. The 50 Grit is an extremely coarse rating, making this disc suitable for the most aggressive tasks, such as initial weld grinding, heavy rust and mill scale removal, and rapid stock removal on various materials.
