Desoutter 6158050140 Balancer reduces the risk of musculoskeletal injuries in tool operators by supporting the tool. This simple mechanism is suspended above the operator's workstation and attached to their tool via a retractable cable. The cable holds the weight of the tool, meaning your operator only has to direct its movement, not support the tool’s weight. 14DF Balancer provides constant tension on the cable, accomplished with a spring motor and a steel drum. The balancer extends or retracts the support cable to follow the tool's movements. The assembler can reposition the tool, while experiencing comfortable operation.
