The Respirator's Inhalation and Exhalation Valve opens and reopens in opposite directions to maintain constant, neutral pressure inside the mask. When a worker breaths in, the inhalation valves open, allowing air to freely flow through the filters into the mask. The exhalation valves close automatically when the inhalation valve opens. As employees exhale, they open, eventually expelling breath and moisture from the mask and reducing eyeglass fogging, making masks more comfortable.
