Positive Clutch Screwdrivers

Chicago Pneumatic Positive Clutch Screwdrivers feature two opposing clutch jaws that turn in unison during rundown, but cam apart as resistance begins to overcome the power of the air motor. Additional torque can be applied by exerting forward force on the bit to re-engage the clutch. In the hands of the right operator, a positive clutch screwdriver can offer a moderate to good degree of torque control in non precision applications. Positive clutch screwdrivers are most commonly used in the wood working environment.
