The vari-tooth design has a unique geometry that offers higher production than the Classic style. It also has a positive rake angle to increase tooth penetration on saws that have limited feeds. The teeth are made of M-42 high-speed steel for heat and wear resistance, with a steel backing for fatigue resistance. The blade can make cuts in solid, tubular, and structural shapes. This band saw blade has an optimized variable pitch and raker set to reduce noise levels and vibrations, and to remove chips efficiently.
